Salon Owner/Director

Helen has been a stylist for over 20 years. She is dedicated and passionate about her work and loves learning and trying new techniques. She is a L’Oréal colour specialist and loves cutting and colouring, as well as doing gel nails and lash lifts. She is a people person who loves to have a giggle.

Michele

Beauty Therapist/Nail Tech

Michele has been at the house salon since we opened. She is also qualified in hair but beauty is her passion! She loves working out of her treatment room and the nail area to offer her clients the most relaxing experience possible. She says we’re noisy in the hair area! Michele is caring, professional and always helps her clients in any way she can.

Danielle

Senior Stylist

Daniele has worked for the salon for a number of years and has been a stylist for over 20 years! She is passionate about learning and education and loves colouring and cutting. She is very mischievous and loves a joke but is dedicated to making your hair look fab. She also does gel nails, pedicures and waxing.

Iona

Senior Stylist

Iona has been at the salon for over 5 years. She is an expert in Balayage and is so knowledgeable about products. She loves to learn and is fab with people of all ages - she is also a Netflix fan, cheeky and a quick wit who’s always ready with a comeback!

Emma

Senior Stylist

I’ve been at Sophisticutz for over a year now. I started as a Saturday girl at 14 and jumped straight into my apprenticeship, earning my level two qualification. After leaving at 18, I returned seven years later after having my daughter, Evie. I ventured into the beauty industry, gaining qualifications in nails, waxing, and more, then went self-employed to balance work and motherhood. I missed the salon environment, so I’m back every Friday, loving the support from Helen and the team.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to Evie, who keeps me busy with her activities, and I’m a dog mum to Charlie and Bailey. My weekends are spent working or supporting my partner's football, but I cherish family adventures on Sundays. I’m a girly girl at heart, loving all things pink and glittery, and I enjoy cozy time at home with my family.

Katie

Junior Stylist

This is Katie our new Junior Stylist. Katie is the newest member of the team. She’s fully qualified in NVQ level two and is now working towards her level three advanced hairdressing qualification. She works most days of the week. Katie loves a good chat and making people feel their absolute best. Her favourite thing to do is colour and style hair. Alongside hairdressing, weekends are booked up with her favourite hobby, autograss racing. We don’t know how we coped so long without her, she is brilliant at adapting her skills especially when helping with children. She is fab at social media reels and ideas. She does a fantastic blow dry and is a little perfectionist! We are lucky to have her at team Sophisticutz and we can’t wait to see her grow.

Pippa

Graduate Stylist

Pippa is the newest addition to the team and studied Hairdressing whilst COVID was happening, She is fully qualified in Level 2 and Advanced Level 3 Hairdressing and is looking to gain more skills, speed and confidence here at Sophisticutz. She has also just recently qualified in Gel and BIAB Nails. Pippa absolutely loves making people feel good about their hair, and loves having a good chit chat with clients. Her weekends are taken up by her biggest passion and hobby - Autograss Racing. We don’t know how we ever managed without her, she is super efficient, thinks ahead of the game, and has slotted in like she has always been with us !
